Star Wars: The Old Republic has announced details for the first expansion, Rise of the Hutt Cartel. Release date is set for Spring 2013, level cap increase to 55, Planet Makeb, and will be fully voice acted. SWTOR has left some details to be released between now and the expansion itself, a great way to keep people engaged.
Rise of the Hutt Cartel is available for pre-order immediately, $9.99 for subscribers and $19.99 for non-subscribers. If you pre-order by 7 January 2013 you are guaranteed five days early access to the expansion content. As part of the news of the expansion, returning subscribers now have until January 7th to re-subscriber and receive their bonus Cartel Coins.
